Following a recent containment breach, the measures have been reassessed.
SCP-████ must now be submerged in a saline solution within a circular pool. The pool must be located at a depth of 250 meters below sea level and surrounded by a D’████████ device.
Nine external surveillance cameras must be installed for constant monitoring.
Every 9 days, the saline solution must be replaced using procedure 24.
During this time, all ████████ personnel must refrain from unplugging any cables until 3 hours after the replacement.
Once the procedure is complete, Class D personnel will be tasked with unplugging and replugging all cables connected to everyday devices to check their integrity. In the event of a breach, Protocol ███-█████ must be activated to restore containment.
Description :
SCP-█████ is a humanoid entity whose hair is made of electrical cables. Where a human face would normally be, SCP-█████ has a large mouth filled with white teeth, and a bright red light emanates from this cavity. On its chest, a large, always-open eye is visible.
SCP-█████ has the ability to project invisible and intangible cables, which are undetectable without special equipment, such as █████ glasses. These cables can extend up to ███ meters and replace the original cables in electrical devices. To date, the ███████ does not know what happens to the original cables after they are replaced, but it is assumed they are absorbed by the entity.
The original cables replaced by SCP-█████ cause malfunctions in the devices, prompting victims to unplug and check the connections. At that moment, the invisible cables suddenly become visible and solid, ensnaring the victim. Within seconds, these cables form tight clusters, and sharp teeth emerge, appearing to devour the victim.
SCP-█████ can also transfer its physical body through any cable it touches, making containment attempts particularly challenging.
Addendum SCP-█████-A:
All attempts to destroy cables connected to SCP-XXXX have failed. SCP-XXXX seems capable of reforming itself through nearby cables. Research into the exact nature of its abilities and the best way to neutralize it is ongoing.
