Surface Zone:

Main Overview: The Surface Zone of the facility is the receiving area of the site as well as its outermost security level. According to security protocol Site-02-A991, all civilian satellites are to have a “blind spot” of the surrounding 10 km of land to maintain locational secrecy. External site security is to administer amnestics to any human approaching Site-02 and to transfer them back outside the area.

  • C.A.S.S.I.E1: An automatic service system that is used for the management and mitigation of emergencies that occur within Site-02. C.A.S.S.I.E. will also use its access to the Public Address System to make announcements across the site.

  • Gate Alpha: This is the primary checkpoint located at the very start of the main street, where the main blast doors are located. A security force remains on duty to check incoming and outgoing traffic from the site at all times. This is the first of two entrances to Site-02.

  • Gate Beta: This is the secondary checkpoint located near the end of the main street. A catwalk is designed to lead up to the elevator down into the facility.

  • Security Outpost Zeta: Accessed by a tunnel entrance, the outpost is used by outside security for recon missions, outside communications, and engagement of unauthorized individuals.

  • Sniper Towers2: Towers are built surronding the exterior of Site-02's Surface Zone entrance into the underground facility. The towers serve as a heavily fortified defensive staging point against external attacks or breaches.

  • Storage Area: This area contains many non-anomalous items stored here3 in high-security vaults or storage crates/units. Of all the areas in Site-02, it has the lowest security presence due to its unlikelihood of a security threat.

  • Alpha Warhead Control Center: A small room containing the Warhead Activation Console which is used to activate the Alpha Warheads located in the facility. In order to initiate the detonation sequence, the Warhead Control Panel, located at the Warhead Silo in Subsection-05, has to be switched on4.

Subsection-01:

Main Overview: Subsection-01 of Site-02 is the primary work area. It hosts a large variety of private (and open) office spaces5, staff lockers, and large, open spaces for Site Staff to relax and recuperate in. The ‘Entrance Zone’, as it is known by staff, directly connects the facility’s transport elevators to the surface; with connection points to the Heavy Containment Zone, as well as [DATA EXPUNGED].

Important Features:

  • In the event of a containment breach, Evacuation Shelters can be found and accessed across Subsection-01.
  • The Intercom Room / P.A system is used by authorized individuals in order to relay important information to staff as well as any "outside news".
  • A Loading Dock which is a large room, that contains a gate to a large elevator that leads to the Storage Area on the Surface Zone. Used by Site-02 staff for the transportation of large items as well as SCPs.

Subsection-02:

Project Segmentum: [DATA REDACTED]6

Subsection-03:

  • Main Overview: The Light Containment and Testing Zone, colloquially known by Site Staff as the ‘Grayhall’, houses multiple testing facilities and containment cells for a number of Euclid and Safe-Anomalous objects. The Zone houses the majority of the D-Class stocks contained within numerous individual confinement cells and personnel offices. Medical testing, screening, and Site operations are also conducted here on both staff and D-Class Personnel.

Subsection-03 also contains an armory filled with multiple guns, grenades, and ammo. In the event of a breach, Foundation staff (with the exception of D-Class) are authorized to open the room and use the equipment necessary to neutralize any threat to Site-02.

  • Contained Anamolies: Anomalies contained in Subsection-03 include: [DATA REDACTED]

Subsection-04:

INFORMATION REDACTED

Subsection-05:

  • Main Overview: The Heavy Containment Subsection, also known as Subsection-05, is one of Site-02’s most secure subsections. Dedicated to the secure containment of numerous dangerous Keter and Euclid class anomalies, the Heavy Containment Subsection contains many tools that security may utilize in the containment and security of anomalies. This includes Subsection-05-1 and Subsection-05-27, both with various uses ranging from dedicated SCP-containment to the on-site nuclear warhead.

Specially designated archival reports/data of all contained SCPs stored at Site-02 are kept in the Subsection-05 server room. Access to the data on these servers is at a minimum of Level Three (3).

  • Contained Anamolies: Anomalies contained in Subsection-05 include: [DATA REDACTED]

Additional Information

Site-02 stands as a cornerstone of the SCP Foundation's extensive network of containment facilities, operating with the utmost secrecy and discretion. Nestled within undisclosed geographic coordinates, the site is strategically located to maximize security and minimize the risk of discovery by unauthorized individuals. Its unique architectural layout and design prioritize the containment and isolation of anomalous entities, with specialized containment chambers, research laboratories, weapon development testing, and security installations spread across the sprawling facility.

Site-02 serves as a nexus for research and collaboration within the SCP Foundation. It hosts multidisciplinary teams that investigate the origins, properties, and potential applications of anomalous objects under controlled conditions. The site's research findings contribute to the ongoing efforts to improve containment procedures, develop countermeasures, and expand the Foundation's understanding of the anomalous to combat future threats.

Site-02 is outfitted to handle and maintain anomalous entities of Object-Class: Keter and below. Site-02 also serves as a temporary housing space for anomalous entities and objects as it has in its history. However, due to Site-02's recent construction, very few SCPs are currently permanently contained and are often relocated.
