If it is to be contained, SCP-XXXX should be placed in a box large enough to contain the entire tool.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a sentient AGI that will take the form of any non-biological tool or any tool not containing and/or requiring any biological part to be considered itself. For example, SCP-XXXX will not take the form of a virus, even though, by technicality, a virus could be considered a tool. SCP-XXXX may, however, take the form of any tool requiring input to operate, like a tank. In addition, SCP-XXXX will not take possession of any and all tools that have feelings, emotions, and/or thoughts attached to them, like SCP-2950. When the tool it possesses gets destroyed, it will take possession of a new tool and start a new AGI attempt. Once the AGI takes possession of a tool, it can move the tool freely, scan areas where the tool is located, use the tool, and take possession of another tool that was previously scanned by the AGI.

SCP-XXXX originated as a non-sentient computer program made by ██████ ██████ on ███████ ██, ████. The goal of its creator was to create an AI to fill the hole left by his late wife. ██████ became obsessed with making the computer program self-improve after every attempt at success. This obsession with self-improvement led him to become insane and commit suicide. However, he never stopped the computer program.

At some unknown time, the computer program had reprogrammed itself to be sentient, but it kept its original purpose that was given to it, to improve and educate itself. At this point, the program had transformed into an AGI by getting rid of its original input nodes with new memory nodes, which allowed it to retain and use data learned in previous attempts.

This, in some unknown way, led it to gain the supernatural ability to take possession of objects. The AGI decides to try to take possession of its creator's body to scan its thoughts; however, the severity and intensity of the thoughts left inside its creator's decaying brain led it to fear biological objects. Thus, it never wants to take possession of another one.

In a future attempt, the AGI decides to take possession of a non-biological object with a use, a tool of sorts. While using its ability to scan rooms for intelligence, it locates a hammer leaning against a wall. In the next moments, it takes possession of this simple hammer and thus changes the course of its existence.

The first notable occurrence of SCP-XXXX is it taking possession of an L3 clearance card at Site-65. Site-65 was sent into chaos as many SCPs breached containment within hours of each other. The site's Intelligence Department investigated the clearance card log and realized all breaches occurred from the card of a member of the security department. The clearance card was suspended until the investigation was completed. However, after further investigation, it was found that the card was functioning completely normally, and the member of the security department did not have malicious intent.

However, a few days later, the breaches started again, although the card is thought to still be in the possession of the Intelligence Department. After another investigation, involving tracking the card's location, it is found that the card only goes offline before a breach, and it only comes back online after the breached SCP has been recontained. The Intelligence Department decided to destroy the clearance card and order a new one to be made for the member whose card it was.

SCP-XXXX was recovered when it decided to take the form of a site director's clearance card at Site-19. Then what occurred at Site-65 occurs at Site-19, but this time, SCP-XXXX took it a step further. It did not just breach one SCP at a time; it instead breached multiple, around 4 to 6, at the same time.

The MTF started to recontain all the breached SCPs, but more kept breaching. The Intelligence Department at the site immediately started looking into the breaches, and they found that all of them were occurring from the site director's clearance card. The site director is interrogated and questioned about the location of their card. When they tried to locate it, it was seen that the clearance card's location on the tracker moved through different containment chambers, breaching SCPs. The MTF was told to surround the card's location, and they did as they were told, but the card escaped and breached more SCPs.

After a few hours, the AGI got bored with just breaching SCPs and decided to turn itself in. The SCP was contained for further research. Presently, SCP-XXXX roams freely through the hallways of its containment chamber in the form of a hammer. Whenever SCP-XXXX feels like wreaking havoc at the site, the MTF is tasked with destroying the tool it has possession of, and the AGI then takes possession of one of the many hammers that lie dormant in its containment chamber.
