Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-XXXX is to be contained within a lead-lined, hermetically sealed vault at Site-19. The interior walls are to be treated with a high-durability acoustic dampening coating to mitigate the entity's ability to utilize rhythmic vibrations for communication.
Direct verbal interaction with SCP-XXXX is restricted to Level 3 personnel with a background in Classical Linguistics. All communication must be conducted via a unidirectional audio link equipped with a five-second delay and an automated filter for known cognitohazardous Latin phrases.
- The "30-Day Rule": Under no circumstances are personnel who have interacted with SCP-999 within the preceding 30 days permitted within the Red Zone of the containment wing.
- Biological Monitoring: Thermal imaging must constantly track the entity’s central cardiac mass. Any rhythmic spike in heart rate (exceeding 120 BPM) suggests an active "feeding" event, necessitating an immediate Site-wide lockdown and the administration of Class-A amnestics to all nearby staff.
- Maintenance: The phrase "Cogito Ergo Sum" must be scrubbed from the cell walls every six hours using industrial-grade solvents. Staff performing this task must wear noise-canceling headsets.
Description:
SCP-XXXX is a sapient, skeletal gestalt entity standing approximately 2.1 meters in height. The entity’s physical form is a complex lattice of human remains recovered from the SG-3 "Kola Superdeep Borehole" in 1992.
Anatomical analysis reveals the following anomalous structures:
- The Cranial Cluster: A head composed of thirty-four (34) fused human craniums. These skulls act as a synchronized vocal resonator, allowing the entity to speak in a multi-tonal, Ecclesiastical Latin.
- The Thoracic Cavity: A ribcage constructed primarily from human phalanges (toes) and fused molars.
- The Fused Heart: Suspended within the chest and tethered to the interior mandibles of the skull cluster is a singular, hypertrophied cardiac organ. This organ is a biological composite of the hearts of the original thirty-four Soviet researchers assigned to Project Dies Irae.
SCP-XXXX exhibits a highly manipulative personality, often offering "Emotional Contracts" to personnel experiencing psychological distress. It appears to function as a specialized parasite, consuming the "empathic waste" generated when SCP-999 treats human subjects for depression or trauma.
While SCP-XXXX expresses no desire for physical escape, it remains in containment voluntarily to remain in proximity to the Foundation's high-density emotional anomalies.
